Dr Arben Ramkaj , Executive Director of the Inter-religious Institute of Albania  (IRI) put out a message of condolence upon the sad  news of the passing of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Philip. Dr Ramkaj highlighted the fact that prince Philip was a man of extraordinary service and commitment, who helped promote interfaith dialogue around the world. Dr Ramkaj recalled the summit organized by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1986 summit where representatives of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism came together and pledged to protect the environment. 
The Inter-religious Cooperation Center of Elbasan also paid their respects on social media remembering Prince Philip as a real patron of interfaith dialogue and engagement.
